As much as I appreciate the info you've provided me with my evening is ruined!!! I checked and yes the tibials are enlarged but there are no spurs, it would seem that the angle of the photo made the hairs look like spurs. I am so peed off aboiut this it's not even funny and to make it worse the thing was way over priced! We checked for spurs before we brought it thinking that we we're being causious but I didn't know hat they didn't have. I cannot describe how upset my husband and I are and the sad part is we cannot do anything about it and nobody will buy a MM for the price that we paid for the damn thing.

Eish. Looks like you got duped by some unscrupulous dealer or petshop. And I thought it didn't look like a T. Blondi by the Pic. I am sorry about what happened, but that is why I always find out more about a T before I buy. Maybe some one will take it off your hands or perhaps you can just keep it?

Name and shame the seller! Also list the price you paid.

Post a close up pic of the pedipalps. Still not convinced it is a male from the bad quality pic. Don't want to ruin someones reputation over a misidentification.
If however the spider is found to be a male, name and shame away IMO.
