@T-Rad, oh heck yes, I agree with you, Pokies are much more docile in general and they tend to hunker down and wait for a threat to pass JUST a tad longer than the Psalmies are prepared to do. My P.irminia throws threat poses much more often than any other T I have.

But Frooty is also 100% right, I actually have a friend with one of those demented G.rosea that goes on like an OBT. She was fine when they bought her, but something went haywire and now you can't even budge the lid of the tank without it being skittish and flicking bristles, I think handling is way out of the question.

So ya, each individual T's "personality", can be different, a perfectly docile T could turn X-Files on you with no warning.

G. Pulchra is supposed to be extremely docile, but mine acts like a bear in need of a root canal. It attacks anything that moves in it's tank and has tried to wrestle with my tweezers and paint brush when I try and herd it around.

I have a P. irminia female that runs for the open lid every time i feed or clean her cage. Always a mission to keep her in while i work, but she is a very pretty girl and ill just have to tolerate her whims!

Just last night had a run in with my P. irminia. While cleaning the tank she saw a gap and bolted up the palm branch and on my hand and made a B line for my head. After slowing her down and getting her back in my hand she decided to get pissed with me and it took me an hour to get her of my hand and back into the tank.

I agree with the above. The G. pulchra is docile but a ferocious hunter. It's food it is after :woohoo:

C. fasciatum isn't particularly fast but instead of stopping after a few meters of sprint, as most other decent T's would do, they can carry on forever. So be careful when opening the tank and fiddling with them!!
