Ants

We have a serious ant problem. It's only a matter of time before they find their way into the spider room. What can I do about it, without harming the T's as well?
to buy some time, find the nest and drown it. if you can, get a really thin air hose you use for fish, and shove that down the nests hole, and fill the nest up with water. it won't get rid of them, only keep them busy for a few days or weeks.
h. gigas (4-5cm)
b. albopilosum (3-4cm)
l. parahybana (3-4cm)
P. irminia (8-9cm)
Scorps:
p. transvaalicus (3cm)
2 emperors (5cm each)
We use Doom ant powder on the floor (along the skirtings and on the window sill on the outside). It's far away from the T cages and it doesn't have an odour.
Haven't had any problems with the T's or the other animals since using this powder.
How's the air flow in the room? The best might be to take the T's out of the room... Sprinkle the powder, leave it for a day or so (over the weekend), vacuum up the excess and put the T's back afterwards. Just to make sure!
We used the powder only once (in December) and the area surrounding the T's are ant free still
