I have been doing what Leechie suggested for years. Using Cinnamon around the dog food bowls, all my ring neck cages, fish tank, snake cages, hamster and mice cages, every other place I encounter ants and for the past year around my T enclosures.

Its an old "Boere raad" that I got from my Gran and I assure you it works and will not harm any T.

I have also know that the people at the Pta zoo use Carba Dust to repel ants from the T's they keep there(mostly confiscated T's that was imported illigally.

I also use the Bayer product mentioned in a previous post. I place a small amount in a shallow container in potential problem areas even around my T enclosures. I just remove the container before I open any T enclosures for feeding etc.
