Hi,

So I'm super new to keeping T's.
I bought a couple all together to start off. All at different instars.

Yesterday, I was feeding them, and when I got round to my Brazilian Blonde (1cm) its just laying there on the surface with its legs all tucked in and not moving.
Not sure if I'm being paranoid, but it really looks dead :( but i dont want to touch it incase it's getting ready to molt (which I SOOOOOO hope it is!)
My B.boemei molting about 2 weeks ago (it looks around 5-6cms now), but it mostly stays under its hide and closes itself in, so I didnt know it was molting until it came out and was all bright and prettier than a few days before :)

The Blonde usually digs under its substrate and just comes up to eat.
Please tell me if I'm just being paraniod?
I can get a pic up later if that would help?

Thanks :)

The more experienced guys will chime in for sure but from my xeperience it all depends on which way the legs are folded in. Is it curled up underneath it in a death curl or is it on a side or on its back with its legs curled up? A pic is probably the best for an accurate answer though.
Oh welcome to the hobby btw :)

Thanks for the fast response.

I can see its legs. they're all squinshed next to its body. 1 or 2 of them look dislocated.. its kinda weird..

and thanks :D loving it so far. Have 11 at the moment :P

I have a chaco golden knee its 2cm before it molted its abdomen went from light to a dark blue and a week after it molted, but on your t i don't see the pre-molt color but give it some time it might still be alive.

That looks pretty dead to me unfortunately. :(
I would put in an ICU and see if it improves, but don't get your hopes up. :(
Then I would get some palm peat to use as substrate and get rid of those sticks for the new spider (Or the old one if it somehow makes it)
