Agreed, if thats peat moss then I have 20 P.metallicas all female all 20cm :P

Sadly you do get people who are only in it for the money and dont care about the T's or slings at all.

Best of luck with your next T's, and now on this forum you have a limitless source of knowledge :) never hesitate to ask questions here.

Oh my oath twigs??? really!?!?!?!? You really should name the shop that sold you that crap. I cant believe it... in complete disbelieve. I would go there personally.

There are so many shops out there that just sell for the sake of selling. I went to a shop over the weekend and was sooo disgusted.

They had a lot of slings... all the normal ones you would expect, nothing fancy. As I was browsing I noticed that 90% of the dubs where soaking wet. I opened a Mexican Fireleg "Brachypelma boehmei" tub and this poor thing was swimming, and to make things worse there was a mold in there bigger than the poor T. I had such a bitch fit and crapped all over the sales idiot. Who said that they need wet surroundings as they come from the Amazon  . I mean WTF!!!!

These shops should be eradicated completely. They are over priced and and have no idea or care what the T's needs are. IF I had the cash I would have bought all there stock just to save the poor things. but R500 for a 1cm B boehmei is insane.

I agree with the rest it looks pretty dead sorry dude. There are 2 different curls I have experienced. Legs tucked under the body means its most likely dead. Legs curled into body but top part of legs closing up top part of carapace means its probably really sick. That is of course if it stays in that position for a day or more "NOT A FEW MINUTES".

All T owners should know how to set up an ICU and not wait a week before using it. I have had T's that look completely dead make a miracle recovery in an ICU.
