The Spider has all ready been booked, so even if you wanted it.

So it was confirmed to be a wet molt.
The advice given was to feed sparingly, and avoid light as the spider is photophobic so a dark place to hide must be given.

The spider molted out about 3 to 4 weeks ago, the lady at the pet store said it looked stunning , all back to normal, and it is a female.

I'll ask nick Wade to take a photo and post it, as he is the new owner of the spider.

It looks like the owner before was doing something wrong as she had 2 other spider that had wet molts, not as bad as the Lampropelma violaceopes

Here is one of my "wet molt" spiders A Lasiodora parahybana

It had this bad molt, and it has molted twice since then it is almost back to normal, molts are still a bit wet and the back of the abdomen is missing the long rad setae, will try take a photo and update it.

2 molts after wet molt, pictures aren't so grand, they wore not taken with the "wet molt' in mind or focus.

Just out of interest, what exactly is a wet molt and what is it caused by???

Thanks Cascade. I have seen it before but it was due to someone posting me a spider directly after molt. I know many a spider has come off unscathed from molting in transit but on the rare occasion you'll get one that doesn't.
