Hey guys. This just isn't my day.

My P.fasciata ate yesterday and is in death curl now. He isn't stiff. I did put him in ICU. I found 2 little yellow bug things in his tank but they were only about 1mm big. What should I do I don't want to loose this baby.

i dont think there is anything else you can do.make sure that the icu has ventilation but still have it very humid. sorry that i cant ad anything else=]

I don't have any real experience at this but I think at this point it's worth trying anything.

Well guys I think i lost him as hes stiff and not responding to anything.....

Hi Rumor,

have you checked for mites? That could be what the little bugs are and I believe they can actually crawl into the book lung of your T and suffocate them.

I advise checking all your tanks and your food source for mites, apparently you must check at night with a torch along the sides and substrate. If you have them, you should pretty much clean all your enclosures to be safe. Mites apparently love wet enclosures and breed fiercely once they get going.

I actually just realised something, and hopefully I will not lose all my T's tonight, but my cricket enclosure had started to smell strongly like ammonia from old food and scraps, which has killed an entire cricket population of mine before, so I made sure to clean the cricket enclosure tonight, but I only did it after feeding my T's...rather stupid of me.

Did you perhaps feed crickets that may have been exposed to poison or something that might have affected your T?

I did check for mites and all I could find was those 2 bugs All my spiders ate the same crickets on the same day and the rest is all fine.
