Sorry for your loss Rumor but if it's any consolation, every T I have ever lost has been either the day after I fed it or the weeks following a mating.....
I'm convinced that something wacky just goes wrong 1% of the time after a meal!

You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!
