So yesterday after doing my things I had some time around 15:30 so I brought the frame outside and started with the design.



So eventually got it mocked up and this is the route I'm going.


Then Moved it into the house last night, I ended up working till 22:30 last night, cutting and sanding, vacuuming and pinning together, now just in the process of glueing the first design part, then over to the other 2 sides.

This is the first part.


As I said in the other post the middle strut is actually in the way which takes from look.

So another update.

On Monday I stuck the second design together.
Last night (20:45) I did some sanding of the 2nd design.
Just have to finsh sanding it then stick it to the pieces under it and then stick it to the back support.

Then onto the 3rd design stick and sand together.

I have also had a design change, will be doing a 4th design on the bottom left hand corner!

Once that is all complete, it is off to the grouting phase.

Don't you guys think this is stunning to look at, I think my next project will with theses plants and moss!

Looking good :thumbsup: ! Is the substrate going to sit at a slope or isit all just going to be flat ?have you decided what Ts and plant species you will be housing in there ?

With regards to Plants, so far will be using plastic plants, i have not decided on live plants yet.

with regards to substrate, it will be flat at about 15cm to 20cm so a small slop up.
the new designs will allow for a bit of a slop, but I will know once the design is done.

So far it is going to be H incei,
so the the design i'm doing will hopefully allow plenty webbing and look good.

Monday night I was able to get the 3rd design stuck together.

This morning I did some sanding of the 3rd design.





The 3rd design is made like this for a reason, I'm hoping that the H.incei will use the gaps and do allot of webbing on the design.
Well we know that the females will web allot of the enclosure for there slings.
And as the colony grows hoping they will spread out and do allot more webbing all over the place.
So far there is 8 females so hoping it will be some awesome webbing going on.

The substrate will be packed almost to the top of this design, so if the spiders wont to burrow they can.

On too the 4th and final design.
Which I have changed the idea about 4 times know, so Have put it on hold for now.
Will be installing the light the doing the air vents over the weekend and do some other things in the mean time, waiting for something to pop :woohoo:

Must say this is second biggest project that I have done.
The first was for a snake tank,

I did a list of every thing that still needs to be done and it is fair amount of effort that still has to be put into it, to get it ready for the spiders.
Not really looking forward to the grouting phase I have given a couple of hide aways for the spiders so I would need to get into the gaps to cover the polystyrene, so it will most properly take me a good couple of weeks to make sure I have ever nook and cranny sealed,
