Jake, AWESOME idea! I am busy trying to figure out a setup to keep a communal of Poecilotheria, contemplating 50-100 individuals in it. I will of course have to buy a case of beer and some meat for a braai, make a room ready and invite Cerat and his better half over for a weekend when it comes to doing any heavy maintenance or rehousing with this sort of communal.

Maybe that will be my chance to shove him in there and lock the doors :evilgrin:

This project, as well as the one Dimitri is planning/executing, makes me all excited, and inspires me even more to go for this Pokie "super communal".

@ Kudu well If I'm going to use it for my H.incei communal then it will be 80 spiders, will also get some males to add in for a new blood line. then if all the females breed well then there will be 8 egg sack, just saying f they all make it then there will be plus minus 320 mouths to feed.
The only thing is the height of the cabinet So that is a bit of an issue and design problem as I would have to build something that they can live on and up in the air.
