Duan when you say "connect them together" are you talking about taking new heating cable and connecting to the existing cable or do you mean you can use a 14 watt with a 30watt on the same rack running next to each other?

One shelf 27W another shelf 30w etc. And connect all with a chocolate box into one wall socket.
Mine been running that way for esveral years now without issues
