That was amazing. I'm not one for handling Ts. I dont like it, but you guys are good.

"God said it, we believe it, that settles it!!!"

This is why we should never take anything as the final result and set fact, but always be open to possibilities...this is where the adventure of discovery and connection between reality and the fantasy world lie.~ "Henry Howard Jnr"...

No offense guys, but if that was my T you were walking around with, I might have kicked you. Hard. If she fell or jumped (which seemed a distinct possibility after already jumping from Taki’s hand to his leg) that would have been one FUBAR spider. Kudos on handling her and not getting tagged, but I think you could've done it better..

She would most probably be ok with a fall. These spiders are arboreal and live 10m up trees, and have heard stories of them "parachuting" out of trees and being fine. A fall wouldn't worry me with a calceatum.

Guys Takis been doing this for YEARS! It's okay to handle venomous snakes and make them bite a hat but as soon as someone lets a tarantula walk on them people go up in arms, they are fragile little things, and that's why care was taken, I've let Taki handle and photograph my rarest and most expensive Ts with no harm done to him or the T, and this is because of the experience he has. Precautions were taken (obviously) and everything turned out fine :)

Fair enough.

@ T-Rad: Wouldn't much like someone who makes a snake bite a hat either!
