Suppose it is just a bit like holding a loaded gun to your neck, especially after the S.cal tried to bite the screwdriver earlier. "Hope" was probably the wrong word though, so I apologise for that.

They are the same species, IMO. Best would still be to do DNA sampling and settle this once and for all.
