Congolese scientists believe this to be an evolutionary adaptation by the spider, believed to combat poaching by guys from Witbank. These scientists believe this transparency is now a "new trend" amongst Baboon spiders from Central Africa. They say this trend has now spilled into Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania and Nigeria, and this is why they just can't find any more spiders to smuggle...

I couldn't see my one sling last night, so maybe I have that "sub-species" too?
I actualy thought that the spider had just burrowed under the ground and just had its legs sticking out, but now I see I was wrong. Big score then on the price. :)

At the end of all of that..... did you actually buy the T? If so, post some photos and let's see what you got and see how big a kick in the a55 the dude needs?

You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

No man, that is not possible! An invisible spider? Maybe camouflaged, like blending in. But not totally invisible! I don't believe you! I'll go for the red legs and unmated reproduction, but now you are only trying to fool me!

I'll just ask my friend to get me 2 of these and see for myself. :pinch:

What you see is what you get. You can make zillions if you can find the slings... I hear the egg case is also invisible... FFS, this "trend" has spread to SA as well, my blue spiders all have invisible egg cases...

Most people are like clouds. The sun comes out when they f*ck off...
