Swifty just woke me from my slumber...

There are no spiders visible in the pictures because they crap themselves when I touch the two ton lid, but the picture below shows the nest created by the five slings. I see some of them outside early morning, but that is that. This nest has expanded as the slings grew...

The picture below illustrates the extent of the females nest. It has also grown in size since I introduced the ten babies. The slings come out mid morning 'till late afternoon.

Did some of the slings go and make a new nest away from the female?

No, the female left them and created her own nest. I think I was a tad hasty when I put them in there. When I gave her the five slings, the female had not created a proper nest yet. They lived together for a few days, then she said her good byes. I was a bit surprised by this, but the slings stayed behind and are doing well.

The female made an egg case about three weeks after leaving the slings. This egg case was a dud, that's why I gave her ten slings from anotha motha...

I think it's time to resurrect this thread.

Are there any noteworthy updates? Are they still behaving as expected?

I'm seriously considering doing something similar in the next few months. (bonus time) That is assuming you can still help a brotha out with some blue T's around march/april.

My initial thoughts are 1 subadult female, 5 juvies and 10 slings in a 1.2m x 0.5m x 0.5m tank. Obviously this depends on the availability of stock and wether or not you are willing to part with them.
