Forum members being rude and childish

I don’t care what other people think or say about me, you can take my karma down to -100000000 – I DON’T CARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it is time to give my opinion on something that I find disgusting, pathetic, childish, mean-spirited, petty and dumb and it pisses me off to no end. Those “highly” educated idiots who are always telling others how syntax works (for those who does not know the meaning of the word syntax: Sentence construction), how to spell and how to use punctuation marks; should go back and look at how they did on their spelling and even how to spell other members names, especially; if that member’s name is available for everyone to see.
If you take the responsibility to give advice try to be kind and conscious of other people’s feelings. Have you ever given thought to the fact that there is a possible chance that there are children on this forum too that might not be able to spell as wonderfully as some of the professors on this forum or that some members might be from a foreign country not well versed in English? If I could take out a red pen and mark all the mistakes I have seen thus far, especially on the posts those particular individuals posted who moan about other people’s research methods, spelling, grammar, blah, blah, blah, moan, moan, moan – then I am telling you it will be an extremely long list. We are not here to practice rocket science, writing a thesis or publishing a journal, it is a social forum where we share our love for Tarantulas and try to HELP others.
I have seen these people giving “advice” but there is almost no substance to what they say. But they act all high and mighty and say something because they hide behind the keyboard.
If you have a problem with what I have to say here you are welcome to send me a mail and supply your telephone number and I will phone you and explain it. Because this is grade 2 crap, if you have only bad things to say to and about others; shut the F**k up and log out.
I have also seen there are specific individuals who keep on being nasty and small minded, always embarrassing others and make them feel stupid. Well, who died and made you Forum God ?????
Strange that I can understand what everyone on this forum says no matter how bad the spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
Good for you if you research until your head falls off, STOP making other people look like crap and to add insult to injury, other people have the audacity to give them a +1 !!! Whoohoo !!!! Congratulations, professor. Yes, the hobby does need more of these assholes who know it all, uhm …. yeah, right.
I asked some of my friends to join the forum as they were unhappy about another well know forum where people are doing the same thing I see happening here. I am beginning to regret that I have asked people to join and starting to doubt if I will be a member for very long if this continues. Ripping other people off while you are just as guilty is just pathetic, lame and wasting bandwidth by saying nothing really and it actually just goes to show how adult you really are.
If someone is asking for advice it means, hi, I am so and so, I would love to learn from you, because I want to become better at the hobby myself, that is the sole reason why I joined. If you do not understand what someone is saying because you are trying to be difficult, then ask them nicely to rephrase their questions. SO THAT YOU WILL UNDERSTAND !!!!! Don’t be mean. If you are mean, you do not belong on the forum. Normally these people know that they are struggling with the language and already feel a bit apprehensive and anxious to ask questions, just to be shot down.
I will be keeping an eye on those “walking dictionaries, holier than thou masters of the written word incarnate” and will call them on any language crimes being offended. How is that for petty? I am Afrikaans speaking by the way and I can spell. When I answer someone I make an effort to get their names right and to be helpful, if I cannot be of help I shut my trap.

Stop telling others they are not able to render opinions because they are only junior members, pathetic spiderling keepers. Minus 3 karma points for you, oh no, just not the minus points, feels a little like backward Noot vir noot. Anyway, what the hell is the karma points about ??? I think I should get a gold star for wasting my time to teach other people what they did not learn at home: manners and common courtesy.
Oh, and if anyone is thinking of deleting this thread, I will post it again and again until I have made my point, you can take my word for it. If you do not like what I have to say feel free to take it up with me, I can stand up for myself. I did my time at university; got good marks, so I do not need tell others how bad they are because I am “unable” to understand what they are saying. When you are intelligent you can make good guesses and inferences.

So can we all please just get over our high and mighty selves? And focus on what this forum is about, Tarantulas not the English language. If this forum wants to be strong in member numbers, then some people need to grow up.

atleast someone see it my way,i were also about to go off the forum because of this...but jaco told me to stay..great guy by the way and since he started to cover for me,his karma went down with mine,not that i care about this stupid karma thing because some of the forum people know me for me and not my grammar,scientific names or spelling.

Same here.
Some posts really have to be spell checked or else they make absolutely no sense at all.
And people have to use scientific names when talking about spiders. This makes it easier for people using this site across the world.
Then lastly, they should really get rid of this karma thing. Its stupid and totally pointless. When i decide to deal with someone on the site, their karma means nothing and has no effect on if i deal with them or not.
