Hi all ,I've seen a plant called 'Love palm' at the nursery ,it looks really nice and I just wanted to know if it is safe to use in T enclosures.also
I've looked at almost every nursery in the east rand for 'Golden pothos' but can't find any does anyone know where I can get these ?and lastly ive been looking for cork bark/cork bark tubes does anyone have them for sale or know where I can buy them?

I've seen people use 'love' palms before. Looked for 'Golden Pothos' myself and found diddly. Processed cork bark chip tiles you'll find at the local Mica or Builders warehouse. Natural cork bark is scarce and pretty expensive.

Thanks Marius ,I am familiar with cork bark tiles ,I use it mostly for slings and juvies .I wanted the raw bark itself for my larger Ts.

A while ago someone created a thread on this forum as to who would want cork bark tubes as he is going to try an import them. Did he succeed ?

hey man live plants are realy health for the tarantulas. but getting it from a nersury i would say is a death
trap for your Ts cause they sprey there plans with all kinds of anty might and all kinds of chemicals
that would most probably kill your Ts . so be carfull of what you put in your Ts enclosure

@Nick wade :ohmy: I didn't know that ,thanks for tellin me ,if the plants are bought from a nursery and are properly washed could they be used ? Because no other place sells plants accept the nursery and Pick n Pay lol .

ive have some love palm in my tank with no problem so far and u can get cork bark at animal kingdom hilfox
