I know they are not related but why don't you try hen and chicks is super easy to grow. But have you tried looking for a love palm in Pick& Pay most of our ones down here stock love palm and they all the same so I guess yours should to.

@Snakekid , hens and chicks seems interesting I will try them with my terrestrials . The Pick n pays here do sell love palms but I picked up a some at the nursery they where on special at R30 ea ,I am following CB1981's advice on how to treat plants before putting them into the enclosures.

I just got myself a few "Tom thumbs" which are a variety of different plants but specifically selected for terrarium use. There is a plaque over them that states "ideal for terrariums"

The lifestyle pet shop sells cork bark sheets @ R60 per kg.
I also posted a thread on how to make your own tubes out of cork bark. It involves soaking the bark in boiling water for about 30 minutes and then wrapping the now softened cork around a bottle (500ml worked best for me) and tying it with string or elastic and then leaving it to dry over night.
I had great results with this method.

I have seen your thread on D.I.Y cork bark tubes ,very helpful ,I'm just waiting to get cork bark then I can try it out
