That is looking super great Dimitri. :rock
But now that you got the little swimmers in, I have only one or maybe two questions regarding them.
How will you go about when you need to change the water of the fish?
Or do you think the T's you will be placing in there will go into hiding when it is cleaning time, or will you place something up to prevent them from running out?

PVV, evaporation is quite high so with all the topping up it wont need water changes. We may just do 30% changes every so often....

You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

This may be a stupid comment but.... evaporation won't remove any dirt, poo or algae etc. So just topping up really doesn't help the cleaning process and water changes should be as regular as in any other case.

Just a thought.

Kudu I have had a 600L fishtank running for close to 20 years without problems. The volume of water to fish ratio is perfectly fine plus we have a filter and have let the whole thing 'mature' for a couple of months so plenty of 'good bacteria' for cleaning. ;)

All good gents. Never doubted that you had it all worked out. I have not had a fishtank for longer than 2 months, got it for the girls in January :P so I'm no expert. Just had a thought on the evaporation comment and thought I'd share.

I'll go back to sleep now....
