Pokies are easy. Try calceatum or maculata. 10 times more defensive and fast.

On the note of bite reports, read this link about people catching calceatum in the wild. Some decent bites. :)

Would still not recommend using a lividum because of my above points. They need to burrow.

okay then i will not use it BUT i am still getting me one.
mmmmm anything else exept pokies, featherlegs, baboons, and chevrons.
pick your weapon then... so i can try to tame it.

hmmm, okay this might not be a OW, but perhaps any Acanthoscurria ??
or maybe even a P.irminia.

How about E.olivacea, L.violaceopes or M.balfouri then?
