What species bit you that would put you in hospital???
Did you see the spider bite you?

the problem was not that it was venoumas, it made an abses because the lady dr. told me it was a spider bite that got infected, so see gave me some cream ( kortisoon salf )sended me home and a week later they operated on my leg because the abses got bigger and made a discusting blackish hole. :sick: so then my blood got infested enc enc enc. now i am on 6 months of antibiotics... f##k knows why.

One of my pet peeves with doctors.
As soon as someone gets a bite or infection of some sort, its always easier to blame a spider. 90% of spider bites are other insects or bugs that bite people that get infected. The spider club has been fighting doctors for years on these random doctors diagnosis' (Or whatever the plural is ).

Some people might enjoy that actually.

Pokies will first duck for their hide when they see trouble... they will rarely bite first. Trick is to just not corner them or do something stupid.

On mostly all the bite reports you will see that the keeper did something stupid and got bitten...

If the bite report I posted in the other thread put you off I'm sorry. I only posted it incase someone was actually crazy enough to provoke the poki to bite them..or any other ow for that matter.

Otherwise they are spectacular spiders!

well Ceratogyrus, it was enough to scare me..
the DR. told me that if he had to ( umh... maak my been dood dat ek niks voel nie ) then it would only infect it more, so he took a kortisoon injection (most painfull injection i had ever had ) sticked in in my leg, took that scaple knife, did not feel him cutting because i was still busy screaming of the injection, then when the cutting was over, he put a little plastic pipe in... ( i was so near crying ) i never before were in so much pain... oh and i am talking about the inside of me leg were the nice and soft meat is.
