i agree with Tazzmanian. P.regalis are pretty 'docile' when they get a little bigger.

i have only seen my female give a threat pose once, they would much rather run and hide than bite. although they are lighting fast compared to a B.albopilosum.

Please don't take this as an attack, but i never understand why pokies have such a bad name? After 4 years of T keeping, why don't you feel safe with them?
I have had pokies for 3 years already, and have never been bitten or even come close to being bitten by a pokie. During this time I have accidentally handled most of them and never felt like I was in any danger of recieving a bite.
Never understand this thing of people being scared of pokies??? If you give them space and respect they are just like any other tarantula. They rather run and hide than stand and fight IMO.

Money wise that is probably a decent deal though. If the female actually is a female though. Lots of these "guaranteed" females are turning male nowadays.

Keep the P.regalis - Unless if you really dont like them that much, then get whatever you like - EVEN IF it is a curly...

no please, do not want to give them a bad name, they are pretty. most people feel save with them, i never had a specie like this, till now... the problem with me is, i cant seem to keep my hands out of ts enclosures that is why i would rather stick to the docile species...
it is a personal chioce, i have my reasons for being scared.
