Legion if the T has molted that many times does that not mean its male as females grow slower than males?

@ T-rad.

Not really, depends on the owner of the Tarantula, there are many factors that plays a part in how fast or how slow your Tarantula will grow for example:Temperature,Humidity,Enclosure size, regular feedings(was it fed once every 2weeks or once a week or maybe even twice a week),and maybe a few other factors aswell.

In most species of Tarantula it takes the males about 8 to 10 moult cycles for them to mature.
I'M NOT SAYING ALL OF THEM,BUT PROPABLY MOST OF THEM.

THis is not a method that will be 100% accurate,it might just be a small chance.

For some yes.

I think Theraphosa's and Lasiodora species might require more moult cycles to mature.

I'm waiting to see how many it will take for my Theraphosa stirmi to mature as I bought it as a 2nd. instar spiderling.

My Acanthoscurria took exactly 10 moults to mature since I bought it as a 2nd. instar spiderling.

So for smaller spiders it should be even less, didn't know spiders matured in that amount of molts, havnt been keeping Ts for too long so haven't had one from a sling to a mature adult yet...
