But, uhm... Can someone please just take that pic and draw some circles and arrows to what I'm supposed to be looking at to distinguish male/female? I'm still a complete spiderless noob and waiting for my "The tarantula keeper's guide" so please make this an informative post for us newbies.
here ewertb, the area I have circled is called the epigynal area that is located between the anterior book lungs, if the T is female is will have spermathecae(the flappy thing between book lungs) as illustrated in the picture, if it is male the spermathecae are absent an you can't see any "flap". Hope it helps in future bud,
