Nah, it's fine. My friend at work bought the book from him a couple of weeks ago. Will borrow it from him. As mentioned, this is my first T so I don't know how a pre-molt stage looks. The spider's body alone is +- 10mm in length. Wynie, I think knows his stuff and he said I must not worry if it doesn't want to eat because it looks for him to be in the pre molt stage. It is also moving around not looking sick or anything.Back side is nice and fat. Is it ok to give a live cricket? must I not maybe kill the head and then try again? I still am not comfortable about it because hell, they are spiders. They hunt in the wild. The cricket is very small I got for him.

Keep on, like you said, offering food and then removing it the next day. As long as the T looks healthy, i would not worry too much.

That is what I am planning. Although I read that if they are in pre molt stage the food item can stress them. The one I put in last night which it refused I left in for 10 minutes and then removed so that it doesn't become stressed? So must I rather leave it in the tub for the whole night and remove next morning if not eaten?

ten minutes might be a little too soon, personally, i would leave it in for at least a day.

Rather take it out after 10 minutes, it depends on the spider but with a parahybana they usually eat like monsters so when they stop eating they are definitely going to molt, you will see what I mean once it has molted and wait at least 4 days before feeding it after it molts.

Ok, I will try a feed again tonight for 20 to 30 minutes this time. If it didn't eat, I will remove it again.
I am planning on giving it food 1 week after the molt.
