Ballerina is not hassing the same problematic as Ballerino though...

The newly generated limb might be thinner in diameter and shorter in length, but I doubt the actual exuvium of this newly developed limb is thinner than that of its seven counterparts. I am willing to bet, pending extensive scientific studies not to be undertaken by me, that the exuvium of a newly developed limb would be the same "thickness" as the rest, but that the limb would be smaller in physical appearance.

On second thoughts, the exuvium of the new limb is likely to be slightly thinner than that of the other "normal" limbs, but that is to be proven through extensive scientific studies not to be undertaken by me.

Then lastly, all of the above is to be proven through extensive scientific studies not to be undertaken by me. If any "higher power" has done this extensive scientific study on thickness and length, kindly elaborate!!!

Hehe. Now THAT I understand :D thanks for clarifying for me. Makes sense :D
Wonder if someone cut open a T with a lost limb in regrowth before a molt to take some photos.

I had to cut a C. cyaneopubescens out of her skin a couple of years ago that was missing both leg IV. The new legs had developed inside the coxa and contrary to popular belief, were actually rolled up like one of these -

Unfortunately I was too busy trying to save the spider to get any photos of it though. :(

Excellent. Thanks for sharing. I knew someone had to do this before. Just had to ask the question :D
Thanks Duke.
