I think a good starting point would be what topics to cover? Here are some ideas:

- Introduction to the THERAPHOSIDAE Family
- Explain the body structure and other biological terms
- Further explanation on Habitats / Growth (Molting) / Defence / Hunting
- South African Legislation covering all provinces
- Indigenous Species
- Exotic Species
- Caring and Housing
- Mating and Breeding

I will also add the importance of using scientific names as well as how Family, Genus, species, etc fit into the bigger picture.

I would say need to keep the price fairly low for the courses, more people will attend then.
R250 is a fair price, I think.
I know the snake courses start from R600 and up,but those courses are a wealth of knowledge and handling.

But as it has been said, I think it is a good Idea and something that will benefit the members attending.
