The discussion is not about making profits or not. Its about breeding T's and growing the hobby not so? Well in that case it stands to reason that we share the information we have. Thought that was the idea behind the forum in the first place. Share information and grow the hobby. Getting new breeders up and running and help them gain the best results they possibly can. In the end it will benefit you and me both.

Sharing information lol well that is what I thought we doing here

I agree, we want to try and get some more Ts into the hobby, Ts are sometimes so expensive because one breeder gets to choose the price everyone else must pay because he is the only one that bred it, again not what the hobby is about. I also think that maybe the newer generation will have new ideas and maybe more like than the older generation, so help the new guys out ;) no offence to anyone :P

He would be wasting money if he keeps loosing T's or sacks for what ever reason and someone on the forum knows what what the problem is and wont share because of years of Research and not wanting to let it go.

My point is we have one breeder on a species where we could have had more.

I believe information should be shared regardless of how long it took to gather it. Sharing info is Progression... not Sharing info Stagnates us all.

My point exactly. On this forum not soo long ago there where Purple Blooms for sale at R600 as the breeder assumed he was the only one breeding them. another breeder replied to that post with this very argument and he ended up having 2 sacs and selling slings for R300... Half the price!

2 Breeders one selling at R600 and another selling at R300. First breeder was taking us all for a ride.

So lets play nice as a communal hobby and help and support each other all the way. If someone's T is dying and you are the only person that knows how this T could be saved. Would you a) help or b) keep your years of experience and research to your self. This applies to all aspects of the hobby.

I don't recall anyone selling flowers on this site before? Purple Bloom? Nope, can't remember...

First breeder was taking us all for a ride.

That is a VERY unfair comment. Taking someone for a ride suggests an intentional effort to be dishonest. Do you know this was the case?

Maybe I am a selfish breeder then, but lets speak again in 3 years time when/if you are the first person to breed a rare spider.
Maybe the "newer generation" will have better ideas, but as I have already said, IMO experience can't be bought or read.
