If they have mated twice, then why are you worried about him not tapping anymore?
He probably knows if he looks for trouble with her again, he will become supper.

Edit: To add, I successfully bred calceatum last year from only one mating.

If you have seen 2 successful insertions already, I wouldn't bother trying them again though.

Lets have an example for a change: The bearded dragon story.

When South Africa saw the first bearded dragons they where selling for more than a thousand rand a pop. So the breeder had the upper hand in selling beardies and making a buck, right? So not long after that, the story of how to breed bearded dragon, AND what temps to keep the eggs so that you would have males and females got out. Yes temperature plays a key just like you would breed tortoise eggs for males or females "depending on temperature". So now every tom dick and Harry had the key to successfully breed bearded dragons. Suddenly the market was flooded with small bearded dragons and they were going for R125. Now no one wants them and they are free?
