I got this as a present t. Blondi is it real? 1st instar its about the size of a 50 c

It is most likely a Brachypelma. How much did you pay for it and where did you buy it from? Definitely not Theraphosa.

So after doing some searching, I found these pictures.
i could not find any picture that had something to show you the size compariso, with a coin or something next to the spider.
But you can see how a Theraphosa blondi is meant to like.

This is more or less what a "2nd instar" Theraposa sp sling looks like:

I don't think yours looks anything like this...

And the spider shown in that photo looks bigger than 1st or even 2nd instar especially if its lasiodora or brachypelma sp. wich it most likely is.

If I may ask what did you pay for it? I sense you maybe got ripped off whistle2 :pinch:
