That's great news spinnerkop! The Fasciata this thread is about molted again about 2 weeks ago. He\she is now roughly 10 - 12cm and you would never have known that three\four months ago it only had 2 legs!

Do you have any pics of how the fang looked before the molt?

have had heavy experience with a spider of mine that also completely freaked me out. This is what I found out:

1. get yourself a magnifying glass and check your spider out to see exactly where the bleeding occurs.
2. do not wrangle with it, until you have kept in in the refrigerator for 15 min (watch it) messing with it too much will push up its blood pressure and cause more bleeding.
3. I swear it, Superglue works! my spider was almost split open after her fall, and the superglue worked great.
watch where you put it, dont get t stuck up in itself!
4. they will try remove bandaging -for bandaging try use petroleum jelly with a bit of plastic bandaging
or petroleum jelly on its own
5. give it water. you need to replace water immediately. I SWEAR BY THIS ONE! i used an eyedropper and left spots of water
on her mouth.
5. keep it calm, keep it warm. but too warm makes it overactive...
6. expect inactivity and no appetite for about 2 weeks.
- squash the cricket heads before feeding - i ended up giving mine maggots

they sometimes force on a molt.... i've seen that happen also as a regenerative method
and this one is way out - a friend gave me an amethyst crystal to put in the tank. didn't think much of the whole new age thing, (enhances cellular regeneration)
but spider actually crawled and 'nested' on top of the crystal (maybe warmth; maybe witchcraft!). loves the thing.
