Will you have your female mated soon or is she mated already? I am not sure I understand your statement?

If you wish, use this thread to share what you learn, and ask if you have a question or two. I have no doubt there are VERY experienced breeders in France, but sharing experiences will make M balfouri as common as illegal immigrants. :laugh:

Yes M balfouri is "common" here, but a little bite expensive again in europe, (not for longtime i think, but very easy to breed for many breeders here, and in Germany)

My female is mated in around one month when i would have the mature male ^^
she is approximmately 5.5 cm to body, and i whant share my experience if i have an eggsac (fingers crossed)
because i whant keep some slings whit the mom too...as long as possible...

let me introduce myself, my name is dan and im from indonesia.

finally i could find this thread with very very useful informations, amazing effort by Scarab.

i have a question about M.balfouri that i have been looking for, i have 2 balfouri that i got from my friend last year.

they were like about 3 to 4 cm legspan and now their size about 8 to 9 cm legspan.

i kept them separately in different enclosure until now !

i have some questions here :

- is it still possible for me to keep them all together now in the same enclosure ?

- if yes, do i need special methods to put them together ?

- whats ideal size of enclosure to keep them both ?

I dont know if it's possible to keep them now, but possibility ti keep many sligns/big juvénile in a only tank
any problem in a "small" tank too, M balfouri is the Most communautary T in captivity i think, i've never seen an accident whit him...
