The light will have no affect on the internal temperature of the enclosure. My spider room never drops below 20 degrees in winter because I have a few wimps with yellow and blue legs living in arboreal enclosures. I can not allow normal winter temperatures because of this.

M balfouri can handle extremes, so no, I will do nothing to heat their enclosure. If they don't like it as is and what they have, they can p*ss off back to Socotra... :laugh:

Don't say that to loud you might end up with a couple of people camping on your lawn.

I'm sure they will be happy in 20 degrees plus temperatures, that is like being on holiday all year round.
