I also kept my temps high until I read something Cerat said about it.
Most of those care sheets you find out there are total crap. The only real issues with spiders in regards to temperature are when it drops below 10 degrees. Other than that they're perfectly happy.
So technically in summer you can leave your T's at the normal temperature. In winter the cold snaps can kill. I set my thermostat at 20 and leave it, 99% of the time everything is off. Then only when the temp drops do they switch on.
In winter I set it higher, about 26.
Congrats on your two new T's and the molt of one of your T's

Tonight I came home, to a sight that shook me to the bone.
I recently got a styrofoam tub that I housed all my slings in. 14 to be exact. The foam box had a heat pad on the side that produced perfect tempreture inside. The domestics help (after being told numerous times to stay away from the T's) decided it was a good idea to place the heat pad inside the box and put a lid on. 70% of my tarantula collection is now Dead. Cooked. Hydrating attempts failed. I have lost

Words can not describe the feeling. How could I have been so stupid to make it this easy for them all to be destroyed. I can't believe this.
