We all do things. I cooked a friend of mines corn snake, I put the tub that the snake was in, ontop of the heating pad and did not leave enough space for the snake to get away or give it water, I was 15 at the time but stupid things happen, you learn from said mistakes.

I will also Donate 2X P cambridgei and N. chromutus sling.

On a serous note though
remove the heating matt ASAP, you don't need it at all, unless it is minus degrees where you are staying.
Maybe for the Avics, yes.

Or install a thermostat onto the heating matt.

But
I would suggest removing the spiders from the container, that is kind of over kill for summer.
But
If you are going to be keeping the spiders in the container cut some air vents inside the container and leave the lid open a small bit so that the hot air can escape to some degree.

The container was going to be used for my move to Ellisras in January. I placed them in there so long and the lid was not even on, I placed the lid under the table, but tub was closed with lid when i got home. :igiveup: :igiveup:

I removed all the heating mats i own and will be spending some $$$ on a decent solution next year. with proper thermostats and controllers. Dont want something like this to happen ever again. Lesson learned, the hard way :dad
