Hey guys

So i was speaking to a breeder "no names", had he told me 90% of breeders sex their slings 1cm and up with a micro scope and then sell all the males off 1st, so chances are when you buy a sling you will most probably get a male... Is this true???

Depending on species, you can't sex slings until they have moulted 4-6 times so at 1cm most slings would still be unsexable.

@ Spinnekop, I personally think that is a lot of bull, if you take the size of most slings sold, from 5mm to 20 mm it just doesn't make sense. Lets say it is possible to sex slings that size, what breeder will have the time to sex 300-2000 slings, depending on the species.

I was thinking the same thing, but it would feel like theft if they didnt state if it was male or female when selling any sling to a buyer... Just my opinion:unsure:

The little that i know it is impossible to sex a sling ,and when one buys slings it is the luck of the draw to what you get,This breeder is bluffing for sure!
