Our Tarantula Cages... HOW IT'S MADE... was created by Ruvan
To choose of you who we promised we would post a thread of how we make our T cages... Hope you enjoy it.. It is quite a ride...
TO BEGIN WITH THE SMALL CAGES...
Making a small cage you need: lets say for a 150x150 3mm glass cage you need.
4x 150x146(sides)
1x 150x150(bottom)
1x 25x150(first part of the lid)
1x 150x127(rest of the lid)
These are the lids we make... we just include the white ventilation covers at the end... The holes are 38mm wide

Tape the sides in this manner with masking tape..(To get a nice finish on the silicon)

Put silicon on the bottom part and on one of the sides.. BUT, the ons with out the silicon MUST be flush with the bottom of the cage... With a 3mm gap at the other end with th silicon...

Repeat this process with all the sides, and in the end it must look like this....
There will follow a more in detail description with a bigger cage, but all cages have the same basic principal...
