Have you tried adding a drop or two of dishwasher liquid to the water used to smooth the silicone? I feel it works even better. Not that I'm a tank builder (yet :dry: ), but I did that when I had to fix things with silicone.

No prob M, I'll keep that in mind next time we build... which is in the near future...
