You could say you have changed your mind and have decided not to sell, just because you have advertised something you are not actually obliged to sell it. If you decline one buyer and accept another at a later date with the former finding out about the sale then you might me in an precarious situation if confronted.

I can go dig in my law books for a reference if needed but I am pretty sure that a private seller has the right to deny selling his/her products to someone even if those products are currently advertised.

Precarious situations always arise around lies. Tell the truth and you won't have to remember a thing... EVER. Now take that to the bank, all you young and starry eyed young wanna be Tarantula keepers.

Spare us/me the LAW book bullshit. Not only does it irritate me, but more so, pisses me off that "the law book" is even mentioned. If anybody with a backbone on this f*cked up planet had anything akin to a conscious or any morality, or even a sense of honesty and/or self respect left, being a lawyer or the like would have been an extinct and forgotten occupation.

Now go DIG in your LAW books and find the definition for honor, honesty, self respect and a conscious...

Cerat,with all do respect who are you to say "who deserves it or not",unless you know the person very well and know they treat and look after there T's like Sh#t ... who are you to look at someone one you dont know and say na im not selling to you.For all you know,that person could take better care of there T's than you and could pride them-self off there T collection.

When I wanted to buy a pup from a reputable breeder we had to schedule a interview with her and if she then approved you she would come for a visit to your place to see if you had what it took to take care of one of her pups. Then she told me of all the screw ups they had with people even though they did that.

So no matter what you do you are still screwed. Just mail the people you think that would appreciate the slings and phone them in 6 months if you think it is worth it and see how many are still around or how many of them had sold them off. What ever you do just don't lie to people, that crap catches up to you faster than you could ever imagine and it always comes back when you really don't need it. There is always a polite way to tell someone you'd rather not sell to them

For all we know your so called "people who will appreciate your slings" will be selling your Ts or not taking good care of them as you expected ,so I don't think its fair to judge on who gets to buy your slings or not .

Don't worry dean, I have nothing against you.
If I sell any T's I will just email the people that have bought from me before and that I know are looking for those species, and then afterwards sell to the people that have emailed that they are interested in a specific species.

Like I said it was just a discussion to see how everybody feels about the subject, and good to have a decent debate on the site for once.

I just have a few people that I refuse to sell too, but sure those people know who they are anyway.
