Do both high and low land get purple highlights ?

I think she is more highland than lowland because of her dark carapace.
Here is a recent pic of mine and 2 older pics of her.







As you can see, her carapace markings do change over moults, but still dark.

Google subfusca lowland and see how light some of their carapace's are.

Lots of pokies show purple highlights with the correct light, but you don't see it in normal light. Not sure if hey both show it though.

I just had a look at Aubz's freshly molted female that gave us a few eggs a while ago. Her carapace is pure Ivory, almost white. She is VERY skinny at the moment, and reluctant to leave her hide so I didn't get a picture. Maybe later...

She is definitely lowland. Not close to as dark as my subfusca pictured above.
