Now this is my issue with Taki saying they are different species.
That is not as dark as my female, so what is it then?
Its not as light as light form either.
Should you breed it? If it was me, yes, I would breed it and make sure you get pics of her at the instar that she drops eggs at as well as a picture of the male before his ultimate moult to see his colours.
That way, if someone wants to see what they look like to try "identify" them, at least they know.

SLASHER wrote: Say she stays the same color, what choice would i be making regarding male-light or dark? Very confusing but i suppose i'll cross that bridge at that time.

That is up to you.
Here is my problem with the whole issue, but this has been debated already.
Can a mod/admin or someone with 'power' please move this thread out of the review section. Maybe into this thread: www.tarantulas.co.za/forum/breeding-repo...ca?limit=12&start=72
We can continue the discussion there and hope that Taki comes on to the site to give his view, cause I would personally love to hear it regarding this spider.

SLASHER wrote: @Cerat: I'll post some more detailed pics soon for a clearer view,if i catch her 'posing', seems this will be a interesting spider to discuss and see how and into what she develops.

A lot of T's 'change' color through there stages of life(molts), could that not maybe be the case here that she would/might become lighter or darker more towards maturity?

I think 95% of the subfuscas in the country will be interesting because none are going to fit in the profile of light or dark.
Yes, they will change slightly after moulting.
I am really not being sarcastic or full of crap, but I would really like Taki's point of view on this one. Not that it will change what I think, just to see what he thinks of this spider and if it is light or dark form. If it starts going lighter will it change species from subfusca to 'bara' according to him?
