Mr T:
Think Scarab has become somewhat of a wise Elder in the Newbie Tarantula community
Careful careful there mate. That's all I'm good for, helping newcomers is something I love to do, but I tell you, no matter how "elder" I get, the more some people disgust me. But like my wise wife said, it's not a tarantula issue, it's a human issue...

@creator. Im always willing to help. Just not publically on the site, but rather via email. Dont like what it stands for. The only reason im still on here (and hate me for it if you like, but its the truth) is because its quite useful for selling stock that im breeding.
I agree fully with scarab that i have made some great friends from the site (some of which are long gone off here) and that is the only real advantage i have gotten out of the hobby.
As for the breeding loans, i only deal with a handful of people if i have males. Just sad that some of my boys have to die without mating just because i cant trust the people im sending them to. Will cause lots of trouble considering the current difficulty to import tarantulas. There are a few people with some nice spiders that feel the same as me and wont send males out anymore, causing the hobby to go backwards really when it comes to local breeding projects.
Ive been in the hobby and this site for over 3 years now, and in all honesty it has gone seriously backwards when it comes to honesty and morals.
Hope the "new generation" can handle themselves with the great migration of the "experienced" keepers out of the public hobby. Good luck to you all.
