There most probably is another fine detail we are missing, does not justify the difference. Descriptions cant just skip colour if that was the only difference.

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but how would DNA testing help? My DNA differs from any other H. sapiens DNA so would the DNA from two presumably same specie tarantulas be the same?

There might be, but they have seemed to overlook it for over a hundred years.

No not really, but i am curious as why colour would be overlooked and patterns are not?

Maybe specifically for the Poecilotheria Genus the leg patterns are known to be a major factor as Duke stated their spermathaecea are different even for same species. Again i will go read through the initial descriptions for P bara and P subfusca and see why they where initially 2 different species. :happy:
